registration terms and conditions

Please refer to the Registration Terms and Conditions for full details regarding our cancellation policy, payment terms, and other important information relating to your registration.

Registration

  • EMDRAA member early bird rates will open on 8 December 2025
  • Other early bird rates will open on 15 December 2025
  • Early bird rates will close 23 February 2026
  • As of 24 February 2026, the standard rate applies to every new registration         
  • All payments are to be made in AUD.
  • Full payment of all items is requested when registering (by credit card)

GST (Goods & Services Tax)

  • Registration fees include 10% GST. Tax invoices issued will indicate total GST included in the transaction.

Methods of payment

  • Credit card: MasterCard, Visa and AMEX are accepted.
  • Please note: a 3.1% administration and handling fee applies to all transactions

Cancelled event policy

  • 100% refund is applicable in the event of Conference cancellation (excluding fees and bank charges).

Social functions

  • EMDRAA reserves the right to cancel or vary social functions if minimum numbers are not reached.
  • Due to commitments to catering, we cannot refund social functions and additional ticket cancellations less than 60 days before the event.

Modification policy

  • Any registration modification requests must be received in writing sent to EMDRAA Australia at conference@emdraa.org

Transfer of registration

  • As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another member of the association.  Contact conference@emdraa.org for assistance.

Travel & Accommodation

  • All travel and accommodation arrangements are the responsibility of the delegate.
  • EMDRAA is unable to accept responsibility for costs incurred in relation to travel, accommodation, or other personal arrangements, even in the event of changes to the conference program, postponement, or cancellation.
  • Delegates are strongly advised to take out their own travel insurance at the time of booking. Insurance should cover
      • Travel and accommodation expenses in the event of cancellation or disruption
      • Personal medical need
      • Loss or damage to belongings, and
      • Any other risks related to attendance.
  • EMDRAA cannot reimburse travel or accommodation expenses under any circumstances.


Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellations for In-Person Registrations

Up to 23 February 2026

  • Cancellations received on or before 23 February will be refunded, less a 25% administrative fee.

24 February – 31 March 2026

  • No refunds are available.
  • In-person registrations may be converted to virtual attendance, with the fee difference refunded.

From 1 April 2026

  • No refunds are available.
  • In-person registrations may still be converted to virtual attendance; however, no fee refund will apply.

 Cancellations for Virtual Registrations

Up to 23 February 2026

  • Cancellations received on or before 23 February will be refunded, less a 25% administrative fee.

From 24 February 2026 onward

  • No refunds are available for virtual registrations
Any registration cancellation requests must be received in writing sent to EMDRAA at conference@emdraa.org
